Years ago while writing intuitively a mischievous puppy kept showing up on my pages. It was strange because at that time I wasn’t much of a dog person. She was named Lucy, had a long body, droopy ears and blinking eyes that looked lined like an Egyptian queen’s. She seemed so real that I wanted to find her. We searched at animal rescues and the humane society, but to no avail. Then one day on our way to the hardware store we walked by a pet shop and there she was in the window looking up at me. I said, “There’s, Lucy!” We took her home and our beagle-bassett now has been with us for over ten years and is such a joy. She is also a star character in my novel, The Black Velvet Coat.
Do you have a pet that you adore too?
I adore Lucy, and remember Mocha and that new girl… she’s a doll. Thanks for these cute pictures of Lucy.
Judy – Lucy loves you too!
What a great story of intuition and puppy love!
Lisa – I know you love your cats too and could write volumes about them.
Lucy is so cute! I love the artwork with her in it. You were truly meant to find each other! ????
Gina – Yes, I agree. We were meant for each other!
